Outdoor training! We have a solution!
They say there is no bad weather, only bad clothes. And we totally agree with that! We love doing sports outdoors, not only in the summer. In winter we choose ice skating, skiing, in spring jogging or long walks, but summer... Now that's a season! Spending time outdoors and in the sun, we provide our bodies with vitamin D, which we have been missing so much in recent months. In addition, we oxygenate the brain and have a positive effect on the work of our muscles. In the summer, we have a sea of activity to choose from, so we are sure that after today's entry, you will spend your next training outside. Bet? :)
Let's start by recalling the classics that are good for everything. First up is running! It is a form of endurance exercise. Not only does it have a great effect on our figure, posture and burn calories, but it also has a positive effect on the condition of our heart and blood vessels. It has been scientifically proven that running helps not only maintain physical health, but above all mental health. It makes you resistant to stress, improves your well-being and makes it easier to fall asleep.
However, the heat does not help with running training. Here, the optimal temperature for distance runs is 12-17 degrees Celsius.
When going to such a training, make sure to dress appropriately. In addition to comfortable sports clothes, be sure to put on sports sunglasses and never forget a head cover. Take a bottle of water with you and treat your body with a cream with SPF filter.
Evening training works well here, when the air is fresher. Highly recommended! :)
If running doesn't convince you, what about yoga? Yoga, in addition to beautifully lengthening and stretching our entire body, trains our concentration. Additionally, it is a wonderful way to relax, escape from everyday life and feel free - especially if we are talking about training outside.
The practice of yoga brings us closer to nature, releases endorphins, and at the same time calms and soothes.
Outdoor yoga is recommended for everyone. Also for the elderly and children! However, whether you like this type of exercise depends on your level of concentration. However, if you think it's something for you, we support you!
What distinguishes yoga practice outdoors from that done at home is, above all, that it is more free, focused, relaxed and at the same time incredibly joyful. You can practice anywhere you can find a piece of space. However, we encourage you to practice in the park and on the beach. Take your mat, find the perfect spot and start!
If it's summer, it's water. And if it's water, it's swimming! Water training brings wonderful benefits. First of all, of course, it burns calories. In addition, it has a positive effect on the joints and respiratory system. It stimulates the circulatory system, improves endurance, motor coordination and corrects posture defects. In the summer, instead of an indoor pool, choose an outdoor pool or meet nature - lakes and seas are at your disposal. What is a huge plus of such exercises is also the fact that water makes exercises easier. Water increases buoyancy. That's why we are able to do more than during classic training on land. In addition to classic training in water, i.e. swimming, take an interest in group exercises. Currently, we can choose not only Aqua Aerobics from the 90s, but also Aqua Zumba, Yoga in water, or Spinning (training on bikes) in water.
The perfect way to train for people who are constantly on the go is… cycling! Instead of sitting in traffic jams or using crowded public transport, get on your bike. Go for a longer ride, or just go out for dinner with a friend. The first thing you will notice is that cycling wonderfully strengthens the muscles of your calves and thighs! In addition, cycling increases lung capacity, and the entire circulatory system works much more efficiently. It has a positive effect on the joints and firms the body. Do we need to convince you further? :)
These are just a few basic workouts you can do from home. But you don't have to limit yourself, because you can do almost any type of activity outside. And that's another huge plus of summer. Take advantage of the beautiful weather and if the idea of training alone in nature embarrasses you, talk a friend, sister or partner into exercising together. Train and have fun!
