How to get back to your fitness rituals after a long weekend or vacation? Quickly and in style!
May Day, vacation or a long weekend is a good "opportunity" to abandon your previous fitness rituals and habits. And you know what? There is absolutely nothing wrong with that! After all, what kind of life is it when we constantly have to deny ourselves some pleasures and count every single calorie. But it's not that easy, if we want to maintain a healthy, slim figure, after moments of debauchery it is worth quickly returning to your previous habits.
This, as we well know, is no longer such a hop siup. However, regardless of whether you are just starting your fitness adventure or you are an "old-timer", we have a few tips for you on how to quickly and pleasantly get back into the game.
Short and to the point - DIET!
First, take care of the basics of your diet. Increase the amount of water you drink during the day, add a larger than usual portion of vegetables to your dinner, and take care of your fiber. Do you agree that we are not asking for much? Vegetables will provide you with vitamins, minerals and fiber, and water will hydrate your body and take care of your fitness.
Don't get carried away by all the trendy diets, detoxes and fasts. Listen to your body! At least until it starts telling you to eat a double portion of fries and a big burger for breakfast!
Make simple changes - protein pasta (e.g. lentil, pea, chickpea) or whole grain pasta will be a great replacement for your typical wheat equivalent. If your goal is to lose a few kilos, a good solution is zero pasta, i.e. konjac pasta, which has only 10 kcal in a 100 g portion. This is a brilliant way to "slimmer" your dinner, while maintaining the same or even larger volume.
Shock element - HERE AND NOW!
Don't wait and don't put it off until tomorrow, Monday, the new week, after your birthday... It usually never comes. Start here and now. Even if your morning wasn't very fit, and your lunch is a high-calorie and not very healthy ready-made meal from the store downstairs, this is a great argument to prepare a delicious and healthy dinner. That's all and that's all!
Get back to your routine - WORKOUTS!
Unless your routine was a complete lack of training, of course, try to get back to regular exercise. It is worth planning a weekly training plan that will help you systematically and effectively sweat on the mat. On our YouTube channel you will find recorded all live broadcasts, i.e. trainings prepared by a qualified trainer of our brand. Because they are in one place, you will easily be able to prepare your own plan and get back into the game in good style!
Don't force anything - DON'T OVEREXERCISE!
Regularity is very important. However, this does not mean that after two weeks of “relaxation” you have to start training several times a day, eat microscopic portions and enter an insanely low calorie deficit. Firstly, such an attitude is just begging for the yo-yo effect. Secondly, it is neither healthy for your body nor your psyche. So relax. In small steps you will reach the desired effect.
We hope that these few simple tips will give you a real boost! After all, you know very well how much you are capable of. Remember that even the longest break from a healthy lifestyle is not an obstacle to your great fit comeback. In good style, of course!
